I did want to end it with a flicker of hope. To temper the utter horror of what the boys are going through. I think on most days that will be enough to save them. It won't be easy, of course. We've seen how potent the mirror's hold is on Draco in DESIRE. But I do believe that they'd make it out into the light...someday.
I am so happy you enjoyed it. I have been away from writing for a really long time (since world cup, I believe) so I'm just ecstatic that my writer's voice is still comprehensible! ♥
