I <3 angst quite very much--back when I was still writing, I wrote angst a lot (well, in a way, I was sort of channeling my lack of angst in my life).

Yes, it's quite rare to be able to talk with someone highly stimulating and intelligent--I've defriended some people who rec these supposed good fics and they end up to be utter trite (think cliche fic where MPREG!DRACO AND!!! HARRY! Their child has one green eye and one gray eye, the hair is a mixture of blond and brunet)--you don't know how much that irks me. *sighs*
